I have been a fan of Studebakers ever since 1962 when I went with my Dad to Wolf Motors in Tonawanda, New York and traded in a 1958 Scotsman for a 1962 Lark Cruiser. We took that car all over the place and towed a trailer on family vacations. I owned that car until 1996, when after many years of trying to restore it, I finally sold it for parts, as it was occupying a 2 car garage and a 10′ x 20′ tent in the back. Well after 15 years of searching, I purchased a 1962 Lark Daytona Convertible as our antique fun car. I’ll be taking the car places and have a new album for our Studebaker travels starting in 2011. Here’s the first photographs of the car.

The year 2010 was very challenging. There were two bright spots, our daughter was married, and the whole family was in San Francisco for Christmas. So throughout the year I didn’t get to take too many photographs. I will put together a 2010 Yearbook sometime soon.
Created a yearbook for 2009 photographs. Includes photos from around the San Francisco bay area and from Yellowstone National Park
The Snapshot news area for Westcott Photographs has been updated to include lots of new features.
An archive has been created to store photographs that have been on display for some time. This allows for newer photographs to be on display on the main page.
An album has been created for the Yellowstone National Park trip of August 2009. The park was excellent. We drove 2700 miles round trip, and as you can see in the photographs, we had excellent weather and saw quite a bit of wildlife. There were, of course, the occasional “bear jam” or “bison jam”, but in general we were able to move around the park with no problems.
Yellowstone in August for wildflowers was amazing. It looked like the entire meadows and valleys were in bloom. Because there were so many and I couldn’t resist taking a few photographs. I made a separate album for the wildflower photographs.
Added a new album for fireworks photographs. July 4th 2009 was a very successful evening to view the fireworks in Livermore, CA.
